to which I would subscribe

I try to see his face

but God's not online

and I've got the Strange Blues tonight

trembling in pain

I could have reached out my hand

but what is there to say?

You were pushed out at birth;

you'll be pushed all the way

you could try and have a word with God

but God's not at his desk today

He's got the Strange Blues they say

There's a line in the sand

I guess we crossed it, man

I know you'd sell all my secrets

so you can entertain the clan

Well I'm just leaning on a friend

I'm not looking for a fan

and I know I drive you crazy

but I know you understand

it's just the Strange Blues again
